Ms. Dash a former student of the American Film Institute received the Life Time Achievement Award from the Images of Black Women Film Festival in the UK. Her work as a Film Director includes “Brothers of the Borderland” for The National Underground Railroad Freedom Center Museum in Ohio. He also co-founded the 1st Black History Class of his High School at Louis D. At the ripe age of 11 Kevin Wilson created his first portrait. After receiving a full scholarship to Rhode Island School of Design, he Akira Arita helped him to inspire his growth in the profession. In 1979 Kevin drew a portrait of Muhammad Ali for the New Future Foundation and the International Year of the Child. He was accepted into the Washing ton Square Outdoor Art Exhibit at the record breaking age of 19.
In 1981 Kevin received his BFA where he started as a freelancer for a local newspaper in Milwaukee. He has since then evolved well enough in his craft to teach seminars, as he did for two years at IUPI. His works have been showcased in exhibits from Black Pearls to the CHildren's Museum of Black Art in Indiana.
